Kindergarten ERO Reviews

Over terms 3-4 2011 and 1-2 of 2012 all of our kindergartens will be reviewed by the Education Review Office (ERO). ERO (separate to the Ministry of Education) is an independent, external agency that reviews schools and early childhood services across New Zealand. The purpose of each review is to:

• Improve quality of education for children.
• Provide information to parents, communities and government.

Each review considers the quality of the programme, learning environment, staff/child interactions, strategic intent and compliance with legal requirements. Each report includes a section addressed to the parents and community of the kindergarten. Following is a list of recently reviewed kindergartens with links to the Parent/Community page on the ERO site. We will update this page as each review is completed. Your teaching team will also make their reports available at the kindergarten.
